Kinser`s Bakery in Monticello

The best donuts in the country are in LA area. These are not quite that good, but there competitive, and far better than I would expect in somewhere other than the donut capital of the world. Super impressed, worth the trip. Probably one of the best in the state!

The Cream and Fluff homemade donuts are unbelievable! Also great pricing too. Great atmosphere inside with friendly people. A true gem of downtown Monticello. Will be going here for years to come!

Love the wide selection of baked goods. Donuts, pastries and biscuits and gravy are delicious. So glad we realized this place is here. Must stop every time we're in Monticello.

My husband and I went there this morning. This was our first time here ever. We got a total of 2 dozen donuts, an assortment of almost every kind they had to offer including yeast and cake donuts. They were definitely very fresh and delicious! The only negative is we thought the fritters were apple fritters, but they were really just plain ones, no apples. We will definitely be back! Also the service was friendly and the cost was great!

Great atmosphere and delicious donuts. It is not an actual breakfast restaurant except they had biscuits and gravy which were excellent.

Delicious baked goods but be aware as we were not, they do not accept credit/debit cards. Luckily, there is an ATM not too far away.

We had our wedding cake made here 12 years ago and have bought birthday cakes numerous times which are always terrific. I ordered a cake for my great Aunt in Kentucky for her 88th birthday and took it to her. Her and her daughter said it was the best cake they had ever had. We don't want to forget their donuts. One of my biggest weakness. Their donuts are amazing. Thank you Mrs Kinser for the years of cakes and donuts we have gotten from you.

1st time coming here, drove 1hr and 45mins for the rally, I will definitely come back and I highly recommend this place!!!!! The donuts were beyond delicious!!! The staff were very polite and the prices were very good too!!! Keep them little mom and pop shops alive!!!!!!!

Kinser’s donuts are good because their donuts are better than some of the donuts, I have had in Illinois. And in Illinois it not as good so I would say that these are better than some of Illinois. This is my first google review!
